In conjunction with MasterCard and Raindance TV, we recently invited the people of Britain to produce their very own interpretations of the Big Lunch TV ad. The entries spanned a touching combination of humour, emotion, socks, superheroes, balloons and sausages! The shortlisted films then spent the last month fighting for the public’s gaze on YouTube.
The winner of ‘Best Film’ is Trevor Hardy with his impressive clay animation entitled ‘Let’s Lunch’. The film which drove the most amount of footfall on YouTube was ‘The Green’ by Stephen Gallacher. Both film-makers were presented with well-deserved £1,000 cheques last week at our prize-giving! Both films are charming, clever and genuinely represent brilliant examples of user-generated content.
